Proses instalasi sistem operasi windows  seringkali membuat anda kesal menunggu lama.  Setelah selesai menginstall system windows anda harus menginstall driver dan aplikasi yang lainnya pada komputer anda. Benar-benar memakan waktu yang lumayan lama.

Kerusakan Windows banyak disebabkan, kesalahan system registry, System yang terkena infeksi virus, data atau file sistem yang corupt dan terhapus, yang memaksa kita harus menginstall system windows kita.

Sebenarnya ada cara yang mudah dan cepat untuk mengembalikan system kita ke keadaan semula berikut dengan instalasi aplikasi driver dan aplikasi lainnya yang kita gunakan. Yaitu dengan cara mengcoloning system kita dengan software Cloning. Banya software yang digunakan untuk mengcloning system, tapi kali ini saya akan memberitahukan cara mengcloning system dengan menggunakan software Norton Ghost, yang dapat Anda temukan dalam CD Hiren’s Boot CD 11. Bagi yang belum punya Hiren’s Boot CD Versi terbaru, silakan ddownload Hiren’s BootCD 11 All In One

Norton Ghost menyediakan fungsi backup dan restore dengan mudah. Dengan bantuan Hiren’s Boot CD, Anda bisa melakukan proses backup dan restore instalasi Sistem Operasi Anda dengan mudah, praktis dan cepat.

Persiapan :

• Komputer atau Notebook target yang dilengkapi drive CD/DVD untuk menjalankan Hiren’s Boot CD. Saya sarankan minimal terdapat 2 partisi, sistem C:/ atau drive yang berisi instalasi Windows dan partisi lain untuk menyimpan image
• CD Hiren’s Boot CD 11 berisi Norton Ghost 11.5 atau Hiren’s Boot USB Flashdisk
• Flashdisk/keping DVD untuk menyimpan backup file image (Optional)

Prinsip kerja

Pada dasarnya, ada dua langkah yang Anda lakukan

Membuat backup Data Partisi PC yang berisi Sistem Operasi Windows ke dalam File Image . File ini berisi rekaman komplit file sistem operasi Anda berikut program yang telah ter-install didalamnya. File ini harus disimpan di partisi selain partisi Windows itu sendiri. Misalnya Anda punya C:/ yang bersi instalasi Windows, Anda harus menyimpan file image di partisi lain selain di partisi  C:/ seperti di partisi D, E atau di External hardisk.

Perlu saya tekankan bahwa, langkah ini mutlak diperlukan jika Anda ingin bisa melakukan langkah restorasi/pemulihan sistem dengan cepat. Dengan kata lain, tanpa adanya file Image Anda tidak bisa melakukan restorasi Windows.

Restorasi Windows. Jika terjadi sesuatu, anda bisa memanggil file backup yang telah Anda buat sebelumnya untuk memulihkan instalasi Windows persis seperti saat file image yang dibuat.

Langkah  Membuat File Image.

• Masukkan Hiren’s Boot Flashdisk USB atau Hiren’s Boot CD sesuai dengan preferensi Anda.
• Nyalakan komputer, masuk ke BIOS dengan menekan DEL/F2/F8/F12 sesuai dengan BIOS PC Anda.
• Masuk ke Bagian Boot Sequence/Urutan Booting. Pastikan media yang Anda gunakan menempati urutan pertama booting. Misalnya: Anda memilih menggunakan CD Hiren’s, pastikan CDROM berada pada posisi booting pertama.
• Pada menu Booting Hiren’s, pilih ‘Start Boot CD’
• Pada Menu Utama Hiren’s, Pilih [2.] Backup Tool > [2.] Norton Ghost 11.5 > [8.]Ghost (Normal). Tunggu beberapa saat hingga program Norton Ghost berjalan. Klik [OK] 

• Pilih Harddisk Fisik yang akan di backup. Biasanya Windows ada pada Local (1) seperti pada contoh, [OK].

• Pilih Partisi Harddisk yang akan di backup. Biasanya Windows ada pada Primary Drive seperti pada contoh, [OK]. Perhatikan atribut lainnya seperti File System (NTFS/FAT32), Label, Ukuran dsb. Pastikan Anda memilih drive yang tepat.
• Tentukan Partisi Harddisk mana yang akan digunakan untuk menyimpan file backup image. Beri nama pada file, misalnya Backup_1 kemudian klik [SAVE]. Perhatikan bahwa harddisk ditulis dalam urutan seperti berikut; D:1.2:[DATA] FAT, artinya adalah:

·         D: = Drive D:

·         1.2: = merupakan Harddisk Fisik Pertama Partisi Kedua

·         [DATA] = label DATA

·         FAT =  File System FAT32

• Selanjutnya akan muncul dialog kompresi Image File, pilih salah satu berdasarkan keterangan berikut:
•  Pilih No = jika Anda tidak ingin mengubah file image dari ukuran file windows sebenarnya
• Pilihan FAST = kompresi cepat, hasilnya kurang lebih 30% dari ukuran file sebenarnya
• Pilihan HIGH = kompresi tingi, hasilnya bisa sampai 60% dari ukuran file asli meski prosesnya akan sedikit lebih lambat.
• Dianjurkan Anda memilih pilihan ini untuk menghemat space harddisk. Karena Norton Ghost tidak mengubah isi file image, hanya ukuran filenya saja yang dipadatkan. Persis seperti yang dilakukan oleh WinZIP atau WinRAR.                                
• Ketika muncul dialog box ‘Procesed with partition image creation?’ Pilih [YES]                                        
• Tunggu beberapa saat hingga proses selesai dan muncul Image Box ‘Image Creation Completed Successfully’, klik [Continue]. Klik [Quit] untuk keluar dari Program.

Sampai di sini Anda sudah punya satu file image dari sistem operasi Anda yang sewaktu-waktu bisa dipanggil kembali untuk melakukan restorasi. Anda bisa menggunakan Flashdisk atau Media DVD untuk menyimpan file Image ini, hanya untuk berjaga-jaga.

Merestore Windows dari Backup File Image

• Boot dari Hiren’s Boot CD atau Hiren’s Boot USB Flashdisk
• Pada menu Booting Hiren’s, pilih ‘Start Boot CD’
• Pada Menu Utama Hiren’s, Pilih [2.] Backup Tool > [2.] Norton Ghost 11.5 > [8.]Ghost (Normal). Tunggu beberapa saat hingga program Norton Ghost berjalan. Klik [OK].
• Pilih Menu > Local > Partition > From Image untuk me-restore partisi dari file image yang tadi telah kita buat.

Membuat USB Booting untuk satu atau dua Sistem Operasi dalam satu flashdisk sepertinya sudah banyak kita temui, namun untuk membuat USB Booting untuk Unlimited Sistem Operasi seperti Multiboot untuk Windows XP, 7, 8, 10, Linux Ubuntu, Debian, Kali Linux atau All Image Linux .ISO, System Recovery dan Unlimited  Sistem Operasi Linux lainnya serta dapat digunakan juga untuk  Unlimited system utility seperti Hirenboot CD, DLCD Ultimate Boot, atau sistem Operasi lainnya dalam satu flashdisk akan lebih menarik.

Anda Penasaran, berikut ini cara-caranya :

• Download Aplikasi RMPrepUSB terlebih dahulu di http://url.taryo.net/RMPrepUSB
• Kemudian, Download aplikasi Easy2boot di http://url.taryo.net/Easy2Boot

1. Langkah selanjutnya Install Aplikasi RMPrepUSB, seperti pada langkah berikut.
   
2. Setelah proses Installasi selesai, Langsung saja jalankan Aplikasi  RMPrepUSB-nya.
   
3. Masukan Flash Disk yang dijadikan USB Multiple Unlimited Booting, lebih besar ukurannya  tentunya akan lebih baik karena dapat menampung file ISO lebih banyak lagi. Jika Flashdisk yang kita masukan masih belum terdeteksi juga, silakan klik Refresh atau tekan F5 sesuai dengan petunjuk yang ada pada program aplikasi.
4. Untuk memulainya silakan pilih terlebih dahulu lokasi drive flashdisk
5. Untuk pilihan boot loader version biarkan default (jangan ada perubahan), untuk file system dapat anda pilih menjadi NTFS, untuk setingan lainnya biarkan default. Jika semua pengaturan selesai klik Prepare Drive, kemudian ikuti langkah-langkahnya sesuai petunjuk yang diberikan.
   
   
   
6. Langkah selanjutnya adalah Install Grub4DOS pada flasihdisk Anda, fungsi grub4dos adalah untuk melakukan proses booting, Jika proses diatas sudah selesai, langkah selanjutnya adalah klik Install Grub4DOS, seperti pada gambar disamping.

7. Jika ada peringatan, seperti gambar dibawah ini, klik OK saja.
   
8. Langkah terakhir adalah Ekstrak Aplikasi Easy2Boot yang sudah didownload tadi pada USB Flashdisk yang sebelumnya sudah disiapkan.
   
   Ingat jangan dijadikan folder lagi, nanti proses booting tidak akan bisa dilakukan, posisi folder hasil ekstrak easy2boot ketika kita membuka USB Flashdisk tampilannya harus seperti berikut.
   
9. Terakhir, Copy Image .ISO ke dalam folder _ISO yang didalamnya sudah ada Folder menurut system operasi atau utility yang akan digunakan nanti, ingat harus sesuai Nama Foldernya, Misalnya ISO Linux, harus ditempatkan dalam Folder LINUX.

Make an Easy2Boot USB drive

Linux users - please go here. If possible however, use Windows to make the E2B USB drive because it will be more compatible on a wider range of systems.

Windows users - see below.

Tip: To make a multiple-partition USB E2B boot drive or use your existing USB drive without re-formatting or make an exFAT USB drive - see the 'Make an E2B USB drive using RMPrepUSB' page. Note that under Windows, Removable USB drives will only have one partition accessible to Windows at any one time.

Instructions (Windows - single maximum-sized partition)

Quick Instructions

1. Extract the E2B download to a new folder called 'E2B'

2. Run the \MAKE_E2B_USB_DRIVE (run as admin).cmd script
3. Copy all your payload files to the correct folders under \_ISO (e.g. \_ISO\MAINMENU)
4. Run \MAKE_THIS_DRIVE_CONTIGUOUS.cmd

Detailed Instructions

WARNING: If using a large USB hard disk, use this method instead and make sure that E2B is in the first partition and it is below 137GB in size.
This is because many BIOSes (even modern ones!) have problems accessing USB sectors beyond 137GB (internal hard drives >137GB may be OK, but USB drives > 137GB may not work because the BIOS USB driver code in many BIOSes has still not been updated!).

1. Download Easy2Boot (either the basic download, or the DPMS version of E2B with XP 32-bit Mass Storage drivers)
2. Unzip the Easy2Boot file (e.g. using 7Zip) to a new empty folder on your hard drive   (DO NOT EXTRACT E2B DIRECTLY ONTO THE WINDOWS DESKTOP!)
3. Insert the USB drive into your Windows computer's USB port.
4. Use Windows Explorer and in the extracted E2B folder, right-click on
                                       \Make_E2B_USB_Drive (run as admin).cmd     

and choose 'Run as Administrator...'  - now follow the instructions...
Here is a quick YouTube video (not my video) of how to make an E2B USB drive using MAKE_E2B_USB_DRIVE (run as admin).cmd.
This MAKE_E2B_USB_DRIVE (run as admin).cmd script uses RMPartUSB.exe and a new version of grubinst.exe to make a USB drive as compatible as possible with a wide variety of different BIOSes and systems. I highly recommend you use the MAKE_E2B_USB_DRIVE (run as admin).cmd script provided or RMPrepUSB to make your E2B USB drive. Other methods (e.g. bootice, linux, etc.) may not produce such good results.

Note: Some AntiVirus programs such as Trend Micro may interfere with the copy process. Either disable the AV program, whitelist the autorun.inf file or delete the autorun.inf file from the download first (autorun.inf just displays an E2B icon when the E2B USB drive is displayed in Windows Explorer - it does NOT run any program).

5. Enter the USB drive number (e.g. 4) and then choose F=FAT32, or choose N=NTFS if you want to add files larger than 4GB to the E2B drive.
   (Note: NTFS is recommended and E2B can still be used for UEFI-booting using .imgPTN files).

Note: Both FAT32 and NTFS will allow you to UEFI-boot. If you want to support UEFI booting, you will need to create .imgPTN partition image files. You can UEFI-boot from .imgPTN files, even if the E2B USB drive partition is formatted as NTFS, so there is very little disadvantage in using NTFS.
If you have a small (1GB to 16GB) USB Flash drive and all your files are less than 4GB in size, I suggest you use FAT32 which is easier to defrag (especially under linux).
Also, E2B will enumerate files on a FAT32 E2B drive twice as fast as a NTFS formatted drive, so the Main menu will load twice as fast if formatted as FAT32.
Even if you are booting a linux distro ISO file that does not support NTFS, it should still boot from an E2B NTFS drive!

6. Make_E2B_USB_Drive.cmd will ask you to specify a language, keyboard and menu option and will create a \_ISO\MyE2B.cfg file for you.
If you don't want to use a MyE2B.cfg file, type S to skip that section for default USA settings.

7. Finished! - The E2B drive is now ready for use.
Now go to Add Payload Files to add your own payload files.
Tip: if it fails to format the USB drive as NTFS, run it again and select FAT32 - then re-run the script again to format it as NTFS.

Updating E2B

To update your E2B USB drive with a later version of E2B, download the non-DPMS version, extract it to an empty folder and then run
\UPDATE_E2B_DRIVE.CMD
from that folder.
If you wish, you can add all the ISOs and .mnu and .txt files, etc. into the extracted folder too, so that when you run UPDATE_E2B_DRIVE.CMD, any new or updated files will be copied across to your E2B USB drive (but no files will be deleted from the USB drive). If you run the MAKE_E2B_USB_DRIVE (run as admin).cmd file, then a new E2B USB drive will be made and all your payload files, etc. will be copied across to the USB drive as well.

If you are very short of space, you can delete the 500MB \_ISO\CONTIG.ISO file (but you will have to remember to defrag all your ISOs).
Some AntiVirus products may block the \AutoRun.inf file from being copied to the USB drive (or may warn of a possible virus) - this file is not essential. You can either disable your AV or just not have a nice E2B icon displayed in Explorer. There is no virus and this file does not run any program.

Note: For E2B pre-v1.58 versions - If you used FAT32, the E2B USB drive will contain UEFI boot files (xxx.efi) which will run MemTest86 from a UEFI system. If these  .efi boot files are present, some UEFI systems (e.g. Fujitsu LifeBook) may not boot to the E2B Main menu but always boot and run MemTest86, even if CSM is enabled in the BIOS. To ensure that the USB drive always boots to the E2B Main menu, delete the \EFI folder.

 

Trouble when Installing Windows Vista\7\8\10 ISOs?

Note: Check if your USB Flash drive is of the 'Removable' or 'Fixed' type (as listed by Windows Explorer or RMPrepUSB).
If the USB Flash Drive or USB HDD drive is listed as a 'Local Disk' or 'Fixed Disk' then you will either need to
A) also make a USB E2B Helper Removable Flash drive for some functions (e.g. Windows Vista/7/8 install ISOs)
- OR - 
B) you will need to use MakePartImage to create .imgPTN bootable files from your Vista/7/8 Windows PE ISOs.

Hiren Boot CD adalah sebuah boot CD yang berfungsi untuk memantenance komputer dimanda didalamnya banyak sekali software atau tools yang dapat digunakan seperti antivirus, tools recovery, backup, service dll. Biasanya digunakan dengan boot melalui CD, tapi anda dapat membuatnya agar dapat boot melalui flasdisk bila anda menggunakan Netbook dimana tidak terdapat fasiltas DVD room.

Untuk menjalankan Hiren BootCD dari USB flash drive, pertama-tama, pengaturan BIOS Anda harus dikonfigurasi untuk mengubah urutan boot dari komputer Anda ke USB drive. Jika Anda mengalami masalah pada mengubah urutan boot di BIOS, silakan lihat Mengubah Boot Order dalam dokumen BIOS. Harap dicatat bahwa beberapa komputer mungkin tidak mendukung booting dari USB drive dan langkah-langkah di bawah ini bekerja hanya untuk yang versi Hiren BootCD 9.7 atau yang lebih baru.

Step1: Formating USB Flash Drive

Sebelum anda memformat flashdisk anda jangan lupa untuk membackup data yang ada di dalam flashdik anda, karena data pada flshdisk anda akan hilang

1. Hubungkan flashdisk berkapasitas 512 MB ??atau lebih.
2. Download dan jalankan USB Disk Storage Format (34 KB) . Ikuti langkah-langkah di screenshot di bawah ini:

Step2: Install Grub4Dos ke USB Flash Drive

Download grub4dos.zip (187 KB)  ke sebuah folder. Ikuti langkan berikut :

1. Klik kanan file zip, kemudian klik Extract All
2. Kemudian klin Next
3. Klik Next untuk mengekstrak file archive
4. Setelah selesai klik Finish.

Sekarang buka folder ‘grub4dos’. jalankan ‘grubinst_gui.exe’ didalam folder grub4dos lalu ikuti langkah berikut :

1. Jalankan grub4dos
2. Klik ‘Run’  jika Anda mendapat tampilan/pesan jendela Peringatan Keamanan
3. Jika Anda tidak yakin letak driver partisi flashdisk anda, pilih drive dengan ukuran yang sama dengan USB flash drive milik anda.
4. Setelah proses Instalasi selesai, akan muncul tampilan jendelan Dos. Tekan Enter untuk keluar dari jendela Dos

Step3: Copy File ke USB Flash Drive

1. Masukan BootCD Hiren s (9,7 atau lebih baru) ke dalam CD Drive.
2. Copy semuanya dari CD ke USB Flash Drive.
3. Copy grldr dan menu.lst (dari folder HBCD CD) ke sub folder drive usb. Dimana isi dari USB Flash Drive akan terlihat seperti sebagai berikut:
